Yi Seong-Gye Introduction:
Yi Seong-Gye (or YSG) is a legendary Korean Commander, and he is one of the strongest nukers in the game thanks to his powerful active skill. His passive skills also are very impressive because they can increase the number of rages restored, and most importantly they will give him and his partner a huge bonus amount of skill damage.
To summon Yi Seong-Gye, you will need 10 of Yi Seong-Gye’s sculptures, which can obtain throughout events, the VIP shop, golden chests.
Yi Seong-Gye Skills:
Rain of Arrows
|Yi Seong-Gye directly deals damage to the targets in a fan-shaped area (up to 5 targets).
It is certainly a very strong skill because he can deal 1,400 damage to 5 different targets. This is a very effective skill when it comes to fighting with multiple targets or farming barbarians.
Art of Archery
|The normal attacks that belong to Yi Seong-Gye’s troops are increased for the next 3 seconds (for archer units only) and have a 10% chance to gain additional rage.
Art of Archery allows Yi Seong-Gye troops to have a small chance to restore rage, and it also increases the damage of archery by 100%. This is a very good passive skill that will help him maintain his active skill uptime. In addition, a 100% more bonus attack damage for archer units in 3 seconds is incredibly strong.
|When Yi Seong-Gye serves as a garrison Commander, his garrison and watchtower damage are increase.
This skill doesn’t contribute much to his strength in the battle, but it can be helpful if you want him to play as a garrison Commander for your city.
|Active skill’s damage is increase by xx%.
Simply enough, this passive skill needs to be maxed as soon as possible. With this damage skill, Yi Seong-Gye can deal up to 2100 damage to 5 targets, which is quite amazing. Plus, his partner is also benefits from this passive skill that is a huge game-changer.
|Yi Seong-Gye directly deals 1700 damage to the enemy in a circular area (up to 5 targets)
Instead of firing arrows in a fan-shaped forward area, Yi Seong-Gye can shoot his arrow all around him, with the damage factor of 1700. If you max out Destiny, this skill’s damage can go up to 2,500 per target (up to 5).
Recommended Talent Builds for YSG
This talent build is focused on playing Yi Seong-Gye as your main garrison Commander. It also focuses on rage regeneration that allows him to maintain his active skill uptime. In addition, it will turn him to a very powerful defender as well as nuker that will cause enemies lots of trouble when they want to attack your city. There are some nice defensive nodes that will improve his overall stats.
This build is mainly focused on PvP, which is his strongest area in the game. Because of his Destiny passive skill, we want to invest in nodes that benefit him and his partner like Venomous Sting, and All for One. Since it is the PvP build, the rage restoration is one of the most important things so these nodes like Feral Nature, Rejuvenate, Razor Sharp, and Burning Blood is a must.
YSG Pairing Commanders
Alexander the Great: This combination will be very effective in the battle because they are both strong in defensive and offensive sides. Alexander will provide tons of shield while Yi Seong-Gye is killing everything around him.
Yi Seong-Gye should be the primary Commander.
Rameses II: He is a very good legendary Commander to pair with. They both will gain 50% more damage to their active skill, which means that Rameses II can deal up to 3000 damage over 2 seconds. A huge amount of damage to a single target. They will prove to each other bonus attack, defense, and march speed.
Rameses II should be the primary Commander.
You can use Kusunoki Masashige or Herman if you don’t own Rameses II yet.
